Born out of PwC

WC Payroll & Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd. (WCPBS) is a salary bureau headquartered in Paarl. The company opened its doors on the 1st of August 2017 after acquiring the payroll business of PwC in Paarl.

Our Managing Director, Carene van der Linde, founded and developed this service line 23 years ago in the PWC Paarl office and managed the PWC Western Cape division.

Together she and our team have more than 30 years of experience in this line of service, with a history of excellent performance.

Section 90 of the Companies Act of 2008 contains specific rules in accordance with which it is not possible for the same firm to provide both accounting and auditing services to a company.

Due to the challenges created by these rules, PWC agreed with WCPBS to take over their Western Cape Payroll service line. WCPBS remains the preferred service provider of payroll services of PwC in the Western Cape.
